Get clarity, control, medications and 1 year of cryostorage backed by AI in the UK’s most advanced Egg Freezing Program.
Modern life doesn’t always follow a predictable path and that’s okay. Whether you’re planning for a future family or simply want more options, freezing your eggs or embryos gives you time, clarity, and confidence.
Eggs cryopreserved and subsequently warmed at Avenues consistently demonstrate superior performance compared to those frozen at other centres. Eggs cryopreserved and Our advanced vitrification protocol, optimised for oocyte cryopreservation, achieves over 97% post-thaw survival, preserving cellular integrity and minimising cryo-induced damage.
Following fertilisation, approximately 65% of these oocytes progress to the blastocyst stage, reflecting strong developmental competence.
This level of performance is driven by precise laboratory conditions, refined cryoprotectant handling, and AI-supported embryology processes, all designed to maximise the viability and future potential of every egg frozen.

Please note that success rates alone offer limited insight when comparing clinics, and should be considered alongside other factors such as patient care and treatment options.
AI Egg Intelligence Score predicts your chances of Live Birth success with your frozen eggs so you can plan for your future.
Avenues’ AI Egg Intelligence is particularly valuable for egg freezing patients, where decisions are often made today but outcomes aren’t realised until years later. Instead of relying on basic measures like egg count or general assumptions about age, our AI analyses deeper indicators of egg quality to provide a more accurate prediction of how those eggs may perform when you’re ready to use them. This gives you a clearer understanding of your fertility potential at the point of freezing, helping you decide how many eggs to store and whether additional cycles may be beneficial. It’s about giving you meaningful insight now, so you can move forward with confidence, rather than waiting for answers at the point of fertilisation.
Before freezing your eggs, the most important step is understanding your full reproductive picture.
Our Reproductive Intelligence Review goes beyond a standard fertility check, combining hormone testing, 3D imaging of your ovaries and uterus, and AI-powered insights into egg quality to give you a complete, personalised assessment. This allows us to determine not just how many eggs you may retrieve, but what that means for your future chances, and how to optimise your plan from the outset.
It’s the foundation of your egg freezing journey, giving you clarity, direction, and a strategy tailored to your timeline and goals. So you’re not just preserving eggs, but making informed decisions about your future.
Robotic handling means no manual errors, prevents mix-ups or mislabelling. Your eggs are stored with precision.
Your eggs are protected by the most advanced system available because your future deserves it.
Each egg has a unique ID so it’s always traceable. No paper logs, no guesswork.
Storage conditions are checked 24/7 for safety and stability.

Egg freezing in the UK is suitable for women who wish to preserve their fertility for future family planning. This may include those who are not ready to conceive yet, those focusing on career or personal circumstances, or patients undergoing medical treatments such as chemotherapy that may affect fertility. It is also considered by women who want to optimise their chances of having a child later in life.
The egg freezing process typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks. It begins with ovarian stimulation using hormone medication to encourage multiple follicles to develop. This is followed by monitoring through ultrasound scans and blood tests, leading up to a short egg collection procedure. The eggs are then frozen using vitrification, an advanced rapid-freezing technique that preserves egg quality for future use.
Egg freezing is a well-established fertility preservation treatment, but like any medical procedure, it carries some risks. These may include mild side effects from hormone stimulation, such as bloating or discomfort, and in rare cases, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). The egg collection procedure is minimally invasive and performed under sedation. At Avenues, your treatment is carefully monitored to minimise risks and ensure a safe, controlled cycle.
The optimal number depends on your age and reproductive goals. Generally, 10–20 mature eggs offer a strong chance of future success, and our team will help guide you through personalised recommendations.
The number of eggs recommended depends on your age, ovarian reserve, and individual fertility goals. Younger patients may require fewer eggs to achieve a future pregnancy, while others may benefit from multiple cycles. At Avenues, our Reproductive Intelligence Review and AI Egg Intelligence help estimate how many eggs you may need based on predicted outcomes, not just egg count.
At Avenues, eggs frozen and warmed using our protocols have consistently higher fertilisation and blastocyst development rates than national averages. When used later, success depends on egg quality and age at freezing.
Success in egg freezing is influenced primarily by age at the time of freezing and egg quality. Younger eggs are more likely to result in healthy embryos in the future. Laboratory factors, including vitrification techniques and embryology expertise, also play a critical role. At Avenues, our combination of advanced lab protocols and AI-supported assessment helps optimise outcomes at every stage.
No! Egg freezing does not reduce your future fertility. The eggs retrieved are from the group your body would naturally discard each cycle.
Most people describe the process as manageable. You may feel mild bloating during stimulation, and egg retrieval is performed under light sedation so you won’t feel discomfort.
In the UK, eggs can now be stored for up to 55 years, provided consent is renewed every 10 years in line with HFEA regulations. This applies whether you are freezing eggs for medical or personal reasons. At Avenues, your egg freezing UK plan includes secure cryostorage, and our team will guide you through consent, storage duration, and future use so you remain in control of your timeline.
A single cycle starts at £5,349. Multi-cycle discounts and flexible payment options are available. We’ll walk you through everything clearly during your consultation.
Egg Intelligence is our proprietary AI technology that assesses the quality of each egg based on advanced biomarkers — giving you clarity about your reproductive potential like never before.
You can use your eggs whenever you’re ready to try for a pregnancy. There’s no time limit — they remain safely stored and available when the time is right for you.
When you are ready to use your eggs, they are carefully thawed and fertilised using ICSI, where a single sperm is injected directly into each egg. The resulting embryos are then monitored as they develop, with the aim of reaching the blastocyst stage before transfer. Success depends on factors such as age at freezing and egg quality.
Yes. Once embryos are created, we can perform PGT-A testing to assess their chromosomal health — helping reduce miscarriage risk and improve implantation outcomes.
In the UK, embryo transfer is generally recommended before age 50. We’ll assess your overall health and uterine readiness to ensure the safest path forward.
Yes. Using frozen eggs involves ICSI fertilisation (injecting a sperm into each egg) and embryo transfer.
Yes. Avenues supports patients seeking egg freezing in the UK from across the country. Your journey can start with a remote consultation, and your care is coordinated centrally by our clinical team, making it accessible no matter where you are based.
No. Most monitoring during your egg freezing cycle can be done closer to home. We offer monitoring clinics in Cambridge, Cardiff, and Leeds, and other locations, allowing you to complete scans and blood tests locally. For egg freezing in the UK, you would typically only need to visit our London clinic for key stages such as your egg collection.
Our main clinic is located near Euston Station, with direct rail links to major UK cities, making same-day travel possible for many patients. We are also well connected to major airports including Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, and Luton Airport. There are a wide range of accommodation options nearby, and our Hospitality Team can help you plan your visit.
