Looking for a simpler way to start your family? Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a gentle and less invasive fertility treatment that can be the right first step.
At Avenues, we combine compassionate, consultant-led care with AI-powered sperm selection and precise cycle monitoring, so you get the best chance of success with minimal stress.
Based in central London, we make high-quality IUI accessible, affordable, and human.
Not everyone needs to jump straight to IVF. Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is often the best first step; less invasive, more affordable, and powered by precision care at Avenues. Here’s who we typically recommend it for:
If you're ovulating regularly and your partner’s sperm analysis is normal, IUI can help bridge the gap between trying naturally and more intensive treatments.
When sperm count or motility is slightly below normal, IUI may be all you need. We use AI to select the most viable sperm to give nature a helpful nudge.
IUI with donor sperm offers a straightforward, lower-intervention path to parenthood for solo mums-by-choice and same sex female couples.
At Avenues, AI isn’t just a buzzword. It’s woven into your care at every step—making your IUI journey more personalised, more precise, and more empowering.
Traditional centres rely on manual assessment, which is subjective and captures only a limited snapshot of your fertility potential, missing critical patterns that only AI can detect.
Avenues uses AI to assess the full reproductive picture; eggs, sperm, uterus, hormones, and lifestyle, giving you real, complete, holistic answers.
The right fertility plan starts with understanding every part of your reproductive health so you can achieve your Reproductive Goal with confidence.
Our advanced 3D AI pelvic scan offers high-resolution imaging of your uterus and ovaries, helping to guide timing, diagnose potential concerns, and personalise your fertility treatment. It’s the next step in intelligent, tech-enabled reproductive care.
This means clearer insights, earlier answers, and more personalised care.
At Avenues, we analyse your sperm using a state-of-the-art AI system which ranks single spermatozoa out of a sample under the micro- scope according to an evaluation of their properties.
We harnesses AI to deeply analyse each sperm, uncovering hidden biomarkers of infertility that traditional methods miss.
Our live AI-driven semen assessment during IUI ensures the healthiest sperm is chosen for every egg, maximising the chance of each egg becoming a baby.
We use AI to help identify ideal donor sperm matches based on phenotype, health data, and patient preferences.
This makes the process more efficient and future-focused.
The Avenues App puts your fertility journey right at your fingertips. Your Reproductive Intelligence passport.

Our unique combination of leading minds, clinical approach, and cutting-edge technology sets a new standard in fertility care. Our IUI Success rates are three times higher than the UK national average of 11.49%
For national success rate data and guidance on choosing a fertility clinic, please refer to the HFEA’s Choose a Fertility Clinic tool. Please note that success rates alone offer limited insight when comparing clinics, and should be considered alongside other factors such as patient care and treatment options. National IUI rates cited from Observational retrospective study of UK national success, risks and costs for 319,105 IVF/ICSI and 30,669 IUI treatment cycles.
IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) is a fertility treatment where prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation to improve the chances of fertilisation. It can be done during a natural cycle or with medication to support ovulation.
IUI is often recommended for same-sex female couples, single women using donor sperm, couples with unexplained infertility, or mild male factor issues. Your Avenues doctor will guide you based on your individual fertility profile.
Many patients try up to three cycles of IUI, as success can build over time. We offer a three-cycle package at a discounted rate to give you flexibility without financial pressure.
IUI is a quick, minimally invasive procedure. Most people experience little to no discomfort. It is often described as similar to a Pap smear.
A single cycle is £1,649 and includes medications, scans, bloods, AI sperm selection, and pregnancy testing. Our 3-cycle package is £3,949 or £329/month. Donor sperm is charged separately.
Yes. We’ll guide you through selecting a donor from one of our trusted UK partner banks. Once selected, we’ll handle everything from compliance to coordination.
We’re the only clinic in London using AI sperm assessment in IUI. Combined with our leading fertility specialists, real-time patient support, and a spa-like setting, we’re changing what fertility care feels like.
You’ll meet with your consultant to review results and next steps. If IUI isn’t right for you, we offer advanced options like IVF, including our Fair IVF and Impact IVF programs, all supported by the same caring team.
Yes. Our 3-cycle IUI package is available for £329/month over 12 months with no hidden fees. We also offer flexible options for other treatments—just ask us about what’s possible during your consultation.
IUI is typically recommended for people under 38 with regular ovulation and healthy fallopian tubes. It’s also commonly used by single women or same-sex female couples using donor sperm. Your consultant will guide you based on your age, ovarian reserve, and fertility goals.
IUI may not be effective if you have blocked fallopian tubes, very low sperm count, severe endometriosis, are of older age or have past failed IUI cycles. In these cases, IVF or another personalised treatment option may give you a better chance. We’ll always be honest with you about what’s most effective.
FAIR IVF is designed for first-time cyclers under 35, with good ovarian reserve and no history of IVF. If you meet those criteria and want a more comprehensive treatment with higher success rates, it may be a better fit than IUI. But if you’re just starting out or prefer a lower-intervention option, IUI might be the right first step. We’ll help you figure that out in your consultation.
