Details of package inclusions and exclusions are listed on the individual Fair IVF package page and generally include:
- Female partner must have egg collection before 35th birthday (Unless using the extension package for up to age 37)
- Adequate ovarian reserve AMH >10 pmol/l
- BMI <35 (Unless using a Fair IVF+ package)
- No severe uterine abnormalities, as assessed by the fertility consultant
- Less than two previous consecutive miscarriages.
- Sperm count >1 million/ml (Unless using donor sperm)
Eligibility is assessed following a full medical review. Final qualification is at the discretion of the treating consultant, based on fertility potential and overall medical history.
Couples must have undertaken the following before being assessed for eligibility:
- Avenues Fertility Assessment Package, which includes an AMH blood test and an ultrasound scan to determine the antral follicular count for the female partner, and a semen analysis for the male partner (when applicable) with an initial consultation for the couple. These will all be carried out at the scheduled appointment.
- For couples taking this package, the cost of the consultation (£300) will be credited towards their FAIR IVF Package if treatment fees are received the same day as the initial consultation appointment.
- Alternatively couples may just have an initial consultation (£300), if an AMH test result within 6 months and a recent semen analysis is available.
- Eligible patients must have had an initial consultation with an Avenues doctor and undertake all scans and blood tests at Avenues London

Consultant Fertility Specialist Led Treatment, 2 x Monitoring Scans, Monitoring Bloods (E2, LH x1) (E2 ,LH, P4 x1), HFEA Fee, 1 x Counselling (elective), Egg Collection and Sedation, Embryo Creation and Culture, Blastocyst Culture, Time Lapse (Embryoscope), Fresh Embryo Transfer (with the exception of Fair IVF Freeze), Follow up Consultation, ICSI with AI Sperm Selection, AI Embryo Assessment and Patient Embryo Viewer, Nurse Consultation, 1 x Pregnancy Bloods, 1 x Early Pregnancy Scan, Stimulation and Trigger Medication, Luteal Support Medication up to Pregnancy Test Date, Couples’ Virology Screening Tests (HepB, HepC, HIV), Telephone Anaesthetic Review if Required.
Specific packages may also include Donor Sperm.
External monitoring (where applicable) is subject to additional fees

Chargeable Medications
- Patient requested change in brand of medication
- Additional stimulation medication
- Additional luteal/pregnancy support medication beyond pregnancy urin test
- Medications for other medical or reproductive conditions
- Additional medication costs can be discussed at the financial consultation
Donor Sperm Policy
- Fair IVF pricing applies to donor sperm sourced from Fairfax Sperm Bank
- Use of alternative sperm banks is permitted but may incur an additional fee
Other Charges
- Please check your specific package on wether embryo freezing and cryostorage is included.
- Patients retrieving more than 16 mature oocytes may be subject to an additional laboratory dish fee (£400)
- Excess embryo freezing, up to 4 straws (£525), cryostorage (£450 per year)
- Additional costs apply for the use of donor gametes, or is included in the Donor and Two Mums packages.
- If due to medical reasons, an in person anaesthetic review is needed, this will be charged at £250.
- If for medical reasons, the progesterone levels are elevated, the cycle will be converted to a Freeze All cycle, which will incur embryo freezing (£525) and cryostorage (£40 Per month or £450 per year) costs at Avenues’ current prices.
- Frozen Embryo Transfer will be charged at Avenues’ current price (£2550 excl. medications).
- If a treatment cycle is abandoned for medical or other reasons, prior to egg collection, a £500 cancellation fee will be incurred.
- If a treatment cycle is abandoned following egg collection, no refund will be available
- If the patient chooses not to cryo-preserve surplus embryos, the patient will be given the option to donate their surplus embryos for training, donate to research, donate to other patients or discard them.
