Dr Hani Daabis is Medical Director of Avenues Birmingham and also sees patients at our London clinic in Euston. A Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, he has spent more than 20 years in UK fertility care. He was a Fertility Consultant at the Lister Fertility Clinic in London, then Medical Director of Thames Valley Fertility, and Group Medical Director of Sims IVF in Dublin, overseeing medical management and clinical governance across its clinics. Most recently he was a Senior Fertility Consultant with Apricity Fertility.

His work centres on tailoring ovarian stimulation to the individual, and on patients for whom treatment has not yet worked: recurrent IVF failure and implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage, diminished ovarian reserve and immune-related fertility problems.

Credentials

Background & training

Dr Hani qualified in medicine (MB ChB) at Alexandria University in Egypt in 1986, where he also completed a Master’s degree. He is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, FRCOG) and holds a CESR from the General Medical Council, the specialist qualification equivalent to a UK Certificate of Completion of Training.

He is an accredited trainer in four British Fertility Society training modules, helping to train the next generation of fertility specialists, and has spoken at The Fertility Show. He is first author of the ‘Fertility in Women’ chapter of the Handbook of Diet and Nutrition in the Menstrual Cycle and Periconception.
